Over the past six months, the VFF and its member organisations have carried out action programmes in line with the resolutions adopted at the VFF’s seventh congress and have rallied public support for the implementation of targets for socio-economic development.

Participants discussed tasks for the remaining months of 2010, including preparations for the 50^th anniversary of the National Front for the Liberation of South Vietnam (1960-2010), the 80^th anniversary of the Vietnam National United Front (1930-2010) and elections for the 13^th National Assembly and the People’s Councils at all levels (2011-2016).

Mr Dam said the key tasks in the second half focus on emulation movements launched by the VFF and the “Following and studying President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” campaign.
