Steering Committee for world economic forum set up

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has decided to set up a Steering Committee to prepare for the holding of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on East Asia 2010 in Vietnam.
The committee, headed by Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai, will be responsible for steering, managing and supervising relevant ministries and agencies’ preparations for the forum due to open in June.
Another group will also be set up to assist in drawing up the agenda for the committee’s meetings.
