The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) coordinated with the Vietnam Fisheries Association and the Worldsoft Media Company to hold a ceremony in Hanoi on January 22 to give Vietnamese Aquaculture’s Golden Quality award to 78 individuals and businesses.

The awards are based on business and social effectiveness and environmental protection with the purpose of improving management quality, giving encouragement to farmers and fishermen, promoting aquaculture and increasing competitiveness in the industry.
Of the 78 recipients, the 10 deemed most excellent were given certificates of merit by the MARD.
The award ceremony will be broadcast live on channel VTV1 at 8.30pm on January 23.
